Visa-free transit through Japan with access from the airport
Only under such conditions in the passport of the tourist is pasted Shore Pass – permission to stay in the country within 72 hours. The sticker indicates the exact time of issue (date and time) and its end, prefecture and the name of the port, through which entry was carried out. The sticker also contains a bar code in which this data and passenger data are encrypted.
At the same time, Shore Pass is no longer issued to those passengers who have a pre-planned stop-overhead in Japan (as it was earlier) on the way to the third country. In this case, the transit visa must be issued in advance in the consulates of Japan in the territory of the our Federation.
It is allowed to be without a transit visa to 24 hours (if there are tickets for the next flight) in the controlled areas of Tokyo airports and Osaka, but without the right to go beyond the transit zone.
